About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a graphic and web designer who loves creating designs that are both beautiful and easy to use. I recently finished Graphic and Web Design, where I learned how to make designs for websites, brands, and more.

I enjoy using my creativity to solve problems and tell stories through design. One of my favorite projects was designing a vinyl cover for a rapper’s album. It showed me how design can make a real difference.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy video editing and exploring special effects on Adobe After Effects.

Take a look at my portfolio to see some of my work, and feel free to get in touch if you’d like to work together or say hello!

Blog Post 1: My Short-Term Goals in Graphic Design

Gaining Real-World Experience Through My Stage

As I finish my graphic and web design program, my main focus is to gain real-world experience through my stage. I’ve learned a lot in school, but I know that working in a professional environment will teach me so much more. I’m looking for a stage where I can apply my skills in branding, motion graphics, and video editing while learning from experienced professionals. I want to understand how design projects work in a real business setting and improve my ability to create effective and engaging content.

Starting My Career After My Stage

Once my stage is completed, I plan to jump straight into the workforce. Unlike some students who continue their studies, I am eager to start working full-time as a graphic designer. I enjoy the creative process—whether it’s designing logos, working on motion graphics, or developing branding materials. I am looking for a role that allows me to be hands-on with design projects and continue growing my skills.

Availability and Future Plans

I will be available full-time this summer and beyond. I’m looking for a job that lets me be creative while also challenging me to improve. Whether I work at an agency, as part of an in-house design team, or even freelance, my goal is to find a position where I can gain experience and build a strong portfolio.

I’m excited to take this next step in my career and can’t wait to put my skills to the test in a real-world environment.

Blog Post 2: My Dream Career in Graphic Design

Where I See Myself in 5-10 Years

If I had to imagine my ideal career path, I would love to be a senior designer working in branding, motion graphics, and video editing. I enjoy making things visually appealing but also meaningful. Whether it’s designing logos, creating animations, or working on marketing visuals, I want to be part of projects that help brands stand out.

Building My Own Brand

One of my biggest goals is to eventually start my own company—possibly a clothing brand that showcases unique, artistic designs. I’ve always been drawn to fashion and how it intersects with branding and visual identity. Owning a brand would allow me to apply everything I know about graphic design, from creating eye-catching logos and packaging to developing strong marketing campaigns and designing the actual prints and graphics for the clothing. Having my own brand would give me full creative freedom and the ability to build something truly unique.

Why I Love Motion Graphics and Branding

One of the things I enjoy the most in design is motion graphics, especially animated logo designs. There’s something really satisfying about turning a simple logo into a moving, eye-catching animation that gives a brand more personality. I love experimenting with different transitions and effects to bring designs to life in a way that static images just can’t. I think motion graphics make branding feel more dynamic and engaging, and I want to keep improving my skills in this area.

My Commitment to Growth and Creativity

Wherever my career takes me, I know I want to keep learning and pushing myself creatively. Whether I end up working at a big agency, as part of a company’s design team, or running my own clothing brand, my goal is to keep growing and creating work that I’m proud of.
