For this project, I designed a newsletter for the School of Arts with an arts and crafts theme. The goal was to reflect the creative, hands-on spirit of the school while keeping the layout informative and easy to read.

Design Concept
I used a warm, earthy color palette with tones like deep greens and burnt oranges, complemented by a light background for readability. The design features hand-drawn motifs like scissors and paintbrushes, adding an artistic touch.

Layout
The newsletter had a balanced grid layout with slightly irregular margins to maintain an organic, handmade feel. Sections included a custom hand-lettered title, images of students’ work, and a clear call to action with buttons designed like hand-drawn ribbons.

Typography
I used a mix of legible serif fonts for the body text and decorative script fonts for the headers, enhancing the creative theme while ensuring clarity.

Final Touches
I added subtle textures like watercolor washes and hand-drawn borders to give the design a crafted, artsy look, tying everything together in a cohesive and engaging way.
